While folks were huddled under heavy winter coats the past couple days, it appears that some criminals decided to do the right thing while it's cold outside. Our morning crime reports for the period of freezing nights this week are showing little activity in the way of night time residential or business burglaries.
We did investigate a couple of residential burglaries yesterday that occurred during the day time when the temps began to warm up. Seems like crooks are not too dumb.
