Now I must admit it can be frustrating when you order food at a drive-up speaker and the order is wrong once you get it. Mistakes happen from time to time, but one driver took matters a bit too far this morning.
It appears that Marcel J. DeLeon, a 23 year old H/M from Kissimmee, placed a drive-up order at Salem's Gyros this morning around 3:15 AM and then became mad when he could not get what he wanted. DeLeon drove to the pick-up window, grabbed a gun and aimed it at the clerk, and then demanded his order as he requested. The clerk quickly closed the window and summoned the police. DeLeon stayed at the window, presumably waiting for his order.
Officer T. Gordon happened to be in the area at that time and located the vehicle still at the drive-up window. Back up officers arrived and DeLeon was arrested without incident. At the time of this post, DeLeon was still in the Polk County Jail under charges of Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, and Violation of an Injunction for Protection Against Domestic Violence.
I wonder if his meals in jail are being prepared just the way he likes them.

What a riot! Thanks for the laugh, this was very well written! I can't believe he stuck around, either. I can't imagine what his Polk County jail roomies are going to label him...
