It's not a state uniformed traffic law you are being cited for, it's a CITY ORDINANCE. Would you rather have a more expensive ticket from an officer, have it reported to your insurance company, have points on your license, pay more taxes for more traffic officers, etc.? Don't think the ordinance is constitutional? Don't you think that umpteem people have researched this issue before enacting the ordinance?
