I see any police agency as "following" a private citizen on Twitter as borderline intrusive. True, social media is completely voluntary, but to suggest that only the "guilty get black and white fever" is preposterous. It's encroaching on right to privacy issues... whether social media is voluntary or not... what possible reason could LEO have to WANT to follow me? I just think it's stepping into some murky waters when the line is already blurring as to what is private and what is not. Less government, not more. I won't be allowing any LEO agency to follow me... it's unnecessary.
