Lakeland Police responded Sun Trust Bank, 3005 Lakeland Highlands Road at approximately 10:00 am on January 24, 2011, in response to a robbery that had just occurred. Victim, Ronald Nunnally, age 65, of Lakeland, was at the ATM outside the bank when he heard a voice behind him demand money. Nunnally turned and saw a black male, 5’7” to 5’8”, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans standing behind him holding a handgun. Nunnally struggled briefly with the suspect and during the course of the struggle received minor head injuries. The suspect was able to get the money from Nunnally and fled on foot westbound from the location.

This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
