Lakeland Police Attempt to Identify Theft Suspect

Cancel bulletin, subject has been identified.

 

Lakeland Police are attempting to identify this suspect of a theft of money that occurred on November 11, 2011, in Lakeland, Florida.  Suspect removed money from victim’s account from an ATM machine.

Lakeland Police Investigate Shooting - UPDATE 2

UPDATE

February 21, 2012

Lakeland Police received information that Daylon Easton died Monday afternoon.  An autopsy has been scheduled; final investigation is pending results of the autopsy.

February 20, 2012

At last report from detectives the victim, Daylon Easton, remains in very critical condition at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.  Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident and are interviewing individuals who were in the home at the time.

Lakeland Police will provide updates when new information becomes available.

On February 18, 2012 at 11:23 p.m., Lakeland Police responded to 1202 Jewel Avenue in reference to a person being shot.  Upon arrival, officers found Daylon Oshae Easton, 17, (b/m 05/05/1994) on a living room couch with a gunshot wound to the head.  Several individuals were in the home at the time, however no one could provide information on the shooting.  The victim is in very critical condition.

This investigation is ongoing.

Lakeland Police Attempt to Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

Lakeland Police are attempting to identify this suspect of an armed robbery that occurred at an outside ATM at the Bank of America, 2301 S Florida Avenue, Lakeland, Florida, on January 27, 2012, at 4:50 am. Suspect approached the victim at the ATM and robbed him at gunpoint. 

Suspect is further described as a Hispanic male, 5’09” tall.  Suspect was wearing a New York Yankee’s baseball cap with all black stitching.  Suspect departed in a compact, black colored vehicle.

Suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
