Lakeland Police have had inquiries about the downed trees still remaining after Tropical Storm Debbie hit Lakeland on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Lakeland roads were cleared of trees and debris within just 3 hours after the storm hit by the Lakeland Parks and Recreation Department who responded to the area and worked through the inclement weather to open up the roads. There are still damaged trees located in Interlachen Park and another one on Robson Road that Parks and Recreation is planning to have removed within 5 to 7 days.
