On July 9, 2012 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Lakeland Police responded to the 800 block of Harmony Hills Loop in reference to a suspect with a Felony warrant. The suspect, 15 year old LaAndre Willie Golden, (B/M, DOB 8/10/96) was located by the officers. Golden had two felony warrants for Aggravated Battery with a Firearm in two separate Lakeland shootings where he was the shooter.
Golden was identified as the shooter in an April 28, 2012 incident in the 1200 block of Jewel Avenue and a June 29, 2012 incident in the 1200 block of N New York. Officers were able to obtain the felony warrant and take Golden into custody. Golden has been charged with Discharge Firearm in Public from Vehicle (F2), Six (6) counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm (F3), and Possession of Firearm by Delinquent Juvenile (F2).
