

Missing Person: Josephine Lashua, W/F, 7/22/1936, 5’5” approximately 100 pounds, long grey hair that comes down to her waist. She was wearing a purple windbreaker with turquoise collar and cuffs, blue jeans, a grey Charlie’s Angels shirt, and dark colored boat shoes
Ms. Lashua was last seen on September 26, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. when her son dropped her off at the Greyhound Bus station and watched her board a bus to Lewiston, Maine. When the bus arrived in Lewiston, Maine on September 27, 2012 at 9:45 p.m., Ms. Lashua was not on it.
The clerk at Greyhound, advised she did remember selling a ticket to the son for an older female, but did not see her board the bus. Ms. Lashua resides in Auburndale with her son.
Ms. Lashua is seen at the bus station in Orlando. Ms. Lashua boarded the bus from Orlando to Jacksonville, but did not get on the bus in Jacksonville to go to Savannah, Georgia.
Ms. Lashua had no identification with her and no cell phone. She had $20.00, a Wal-Mart bag with personal belongings and her son’s number written on a piece of paper in her pocket.
She has no known medical issues.
Lakeland Police are asking anyone with information on the location of Ms. Lashua to contact us at 863-834-6900.
